Beer Batter Shrimp
Ingredients:
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup beer
8 ounces cleaned tiger prawns
peanut oil, for frying
Preparations:
Combine flour and salt. Stir in beer and mix well to make a batter. Heat oil to 375 degrees. Dip shrimp in batter, allow excess to drip off. Fry small batches of shrimp in oil for 1-2 minutes, until golden. Drain on a rack and blot with paper towels. Serve hot.
Makes 2 Servings.
