Roses and rosebuds can be created from two-toned or solid color wire ribbon.

Select wire-edged ribbon (1.5" wide)... often called French ribbon.

Begin gathering the ribbon along the wire on one side. Don't cut the ribbon length yet.

Begin the rose or rosebud by overlapping the ribbon and wires on one end as shown.

While holding this end begin wrapping the ribbon at the rose base tightly.

Once the desired rose or rosebud size is created, then, cut the ribbon leaving a bit to tuck neatly into the base.

Wrap the rose or rosebud tightly with two of the extended wires. Fasten with the two remaining wires.

Sculpture and shape the ribbon petals to create a lasting rose or rosebud.

Create a bouquet by fastening satin ribbons, silk leaves, and your rose and rosebuds together.

Decorate beautifully with this lasting bouquet of roses and rosebuds. Try blue or purple for very unique roses.
