Love Beyond Friendship

Dear Jeff,

It has been such a long time since we became friends. We have shared many good things together. I laughed and cried with you, shared some sparkling moments with you. But, there is something that you haven't known... I love you. Not as a friend but as someone who would share a lifetime with you.

It does not matter if you won't love me, as long as I love you. I always ask myself why I love you... still, I cannot find an answer for it. I love you but I don't want to pursue my feelings for you. Instead, I'd rather share it to myself and let this feeling flow. Even if it will hurt me, I will still endure the pain, because I won't let this heart ruin our friendship, a friendship that we have shared for the past 3 years.

I only wish that if the time comes when you will how much I love you, you won't hate me. For if you do, I don't know what will happen to me. Just remember one thing, I will always love you.
