10th Year Anniversary Vows

Dear Butterfly,

Well, here we are 10 years later after our first marriage. I still miss you every morning and can't wait to see you every afternoon! You are my life, love, laughter, sunshine, moonlight, the hand that guides me through the roughest times. I am here for you forever and always.

We have been through a lot this year and in previous years. From being separated, to our daughter going into the hospital paralyzed, to your brother being hospitalized. I can not explain the feelings I have for you other than pure love. Pure love - what is that; it is the love that makes me wake up every morning and fall asleep every night. It's the love that makes me weak at the drop of a hat. I love you now and forever and always. You are my butterfly and I will always cherish that thought.

When Oct. 22nd gets here, I hope that we have moved to the coast and are happy. It will also be the day that we renew (remarry) each other's vows. And my vows to you are:

I promise to keep you in loving arms for the rest of your life.
I promise to love honor and cherish you until the end of time.
I promise to be there for you when you need me.
I promise to be your soul mate until we grow old together.
I will be your husband for an eternity.
I love you for always being you and being my laughter.
You are the only person to ever make me feel this way towards anyone.
You are so beautiful even when you first wake up. I don't even understand why you need all the make-up.
I will be your heart, soul and love for an eternity.
With these vows I do give you my heart to keep forever.
